At Fins to Feathers Outfitters, we are committed to providing our customers with the best turkey hunting experience imagainable. Fins to Feathers Outfitter uses both private and public lands for their guided hunts. The public land Fins to Feathers Outfitters uses is known as "LBL", Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. When hunting this area, we like to access some of these remote locations by boat, once the boat is close enough to the shore, the calling begins.
If you choose lodging with Fins to Feathers, hunters and guests arrive the evening before their scheduled hunt at Rose of the Lake B&B. Our guides or other staff members will be in contact with you to finalize our hunt plans. The next morning, our guides will arrive and transport you the to the hunting area. After the morning hunt, hunters return to Rose of the Lake B&B for their famous brunch which is included with your night stay at Rose of the Lake B&B.

The Grand Slam is the most popular of the NWTF’s recognized wild turkey slams.
To achieve a Grand Slam, a hunter must harvest and register the four most common subspecies of wild turkey, the Eastern, Rio Grande, Merriam’s and Osceola (Florida) turkeys. Upon completion and registration of the slam, the hunter receives a pin and certificate. - NWTF
Found east of the Mississippi River and is the most abundant and widely distributed subspecies.
Primarily located in the ponderosa pine forests of the western U.S. mountain regions.
A common subspecies found in states like Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas.
Native to the Florida peninsula, it is the smallest of the five American wild turkey subspecies.
