Kentucky Lake is well known for its Crappie Fishing.  Kentucky Fish & Wildlife allows for 20 fish bag limit, no more than 5 fish in the daily creel limit may be over 15 inches long. Possession limit on Crappie is 40. Depending on the time of the year, anglers will either get out early in the morning or late morning for guided trip. Unlike other Crappie fishing charters in the area, we include lodging and all the benefits that Rose to the Lake B&B offers.   If you would like to book a charter without lodging, please call for pricing. 

Fins to Feathers is honored to have Tony Sheppard as one of their Crappie Guides.  Tony grew up in Kentucky near the banks of Kentucky Lake and  started crappie fishing at a very young age. Over the years, his  passion for crappie fishing grew along with his passion to teach and guide others in the sport.  Tony has competed in over 100 crappie tournaments from local club tournaments to national championships on multiple tournament trails.  Some highlights of Tony's tournament fishing career; in 2014  he  won the Crappie Masters National Championship as well as the Crappie Masters Grenada Lake Fall Championship back to back.  Following up in 2019, Tony won the Walley Marshall Mr. Crappie Classic Invitational & Expo with a field of 150 boats. Tony  reside in Dexter, Kentucky with his wife Lori, daughter Carlie and son Fin.
