Pictured with his son Rowan and his dog Ace, John is an Owner of Fins to Feathers Outfitter. Growing up in Western Kentucky, John developed a love for hunting and fishing at an early age, spending much of his time outdoors and building a lifelong connection to the traditions of the region.

As his passion for waterfowl hunting grew, John became a professional guide, gaining years of experience in the field and sharing his love of the outdoors with other hunters. Over time, he envisioned creating an outfitter that offered more than just a great hunt or fishing trip—he wanted to build an experience that could be enjoyed by everyone.

John founded Fins to Feathers Outfitter with the goal of creating a family-friendly operation where hunters and anglers of all ages and experience levels feel welcome. Whether it’s someone experiencing their first hunt, a seasoned outdoorsman, or a family making memories together, John’s vision remains at the heart of Fins to Feathers: providing memorable outdoor experiences that bring people together.
